Avigdor Lieberman: â€œJewish community in Azerbaijan feels comfortable, enjoying their rights and freedom of speech largely.â€

In his reply to the media reps, he told that Israel has very close ties with Azerbaijan and he mentioned that it was not his first visit to Azerbaijan. As he added, he had had such kind of meetings with his colleagues and state officials in Azerbaijan before. He marked his visit to be very successful as he met with President Ilham Aliyev.

Israeli Foreign Minister emphasized that Israeli and Azeri people have very intense relations. He pointed out the Israeli Diaspora and Jewish community in Azerbaijan which feel them comfortable, enjoying rights and freedom of speech. â€œWe have active Diaspora from Azerbaijan and we are happy to have this kind of close ties, which enables us to speak openly and sincerely to each other.â€
