Noting the complexity of the Nagorno Kar6abakh conflict, rector said there was a need for stages to solve the problem.
“The main thing is that the world community demonstrates will for the solution to the problem, resolutions of the UN Security Council are legal basis for the solution to the conflict and the process of negotiations is going on. Russia is interested in the solution of the problem. History shows that the only way to solve this problem is negotiation, diplomacy,†he said.
UN Security Council’s four resolutions on Nagorno Karabakh envisage unconditional withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from the occupied Azerbaijani regions.
