Roman Aghayev – APA. “I would like to say regarding the Gabala radar that the Obama administration’s denial of the missile defense systems in Europe created opportunities for collective action against concrete threats, said Russian foreign minister Sergei Lavrov in a press conference on outcomes of last year, APA reports. The foreign minister said presidents Medvedev and Obama reached an agreement on cooperation for evaluation of threats and risks. “The first step in this direction is identification of the sources of threats and risks. Only after that – in the next phase we can involve other countries in this process to closely watch these threats and to think about the existence of military-technical means to prevent them by political-diplomatic, economic and other methods in timeâ€.
