Azerbaijani delegation to PACE leaves for Strasbourg

Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Azerbaijani delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE) has left for Strasbourg to attend the winter session from January 25 till 29, the parliament’s press service told APA. The delegation led by Samad Seyidov includes Gultakin Hajibayli, Aydin Abbasov, Sabir Hajiyev, Rafael Huseynov, Aydin Mirzazadeh and Aynur Guliyeva. The Bureau and Permanent Committee will make report, observation of the presidential election in Ukraine, Situation in the Middle East, the functioning of democratic institutions in Bosnia and Herzegovina, action against trafficking in human beings, lobbying in a democratic society, judicial corruption, freedom of religion and other human rights for non-Muslim minorities in Turkey and for the Muslim minority in Thrace (Eastern Greece), the functioning of democratic institutions in Albania will be discussed during the winter session.

Head of the delegation Samad Seyidov and parliamentarians will comment on the issues on the agenda.
