Azerbaijan to restore its pavilion at All-Russia Exhibition Centre

Baku. Lachin Sultanova-APA. Azerbaijan will restore its pavilion at the complex of Moscowâ€™s All-Russia Exhibition Centre, APA reports quoting Russian Mass Media. Director General of All-Russia Exhibition Centre Ivan Malakhov told journalists that CIS countries wanted to restore their pavilions, representations at the complex of All-Russia Exhibition Centre and took interest in setting â€œNations cityâ€ cultural-historical centre. Having met with some CIS diplomats Malakhov reminded that after the collapse of the Soviet Union, pavilions of the union republics were closed. Pavilions of Belarus, Kyrgyzstan and Armenia are in operation here for the time being. He noted Azerbaijan, Moldova, Kazakhstan, Ukraine and Tajikistan want to set pavilions. Malakhov stated that All-Russia Exhibition Centre showed interest in opening these pavilions in the near future.
Today, All-Russia Exhibition Centre is a large exhibition and park complex titled National Economic Achievements (VDNKh). At that time 15 union republics had their own pavilions reflecting the national economic achievements. 130 exhibitions are held here each year.
