Member of Azerbaijani delegation to OSCE PA: Yanukovich will win the presidential elections in Ukraine

The Ukrainians have already tasted the orange revolution. They saw what this revolution gave the Ukrainian people and state,â€ chairman of Azerbaijani parliamentâ€™s agrarian policy committee, member of the parliamentâ€™s delegation to OSCE PA Eldar Ibrahimov told APA while commenting on the presidential elections in Ukraine.
He said he had seen neither the orange revolution nor the scenario of the revolution in Ukraine. According to him, there is no doubt that Yanukovich will be president.
â€œYanukovich has stable electorate, taking into account that he is pro-Russian politician and over 50 percent of the Ukrainian population is Russians and pro-Russian people, there is no doubt that the leader of the Party of Regions will win in the second round of the elections. Tymoshenko will not defeat Yanukovich, as she is one of the followers of the orange revolution. By the way, the epoch of the colorful revolutions has ended. Yanukovich will attach more importance to GUAM, cooperation within the framework of GUAM, relations with Azerbaijan. I have met with Yanukovich several times, been in close contact with him. I also attended the congress of the Party of regions. So, I know that Yanukovich attaches more importance to Azerbaijan than Yushchenko, or others â€¦ Yushchenko attaches more importance to Georgia, he is inclined to revolution,â€ he said.
