Ahmet Davutoglu invites Azerbaijani Foreign Minister to pay an official visit to Turkey

The ministers discussed all directions of relations between the two countries in details, press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs told APA.

The sides also discussed the regional issues, particularly Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict, normalization of Armenian-Turkish relations and Afghanistan. Davutoglu emphasized the importance of the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict for peace and security in the region and said the Turkish-Armenian protocols could be ratified and implemented only after the liberation of Azerbaijani lands from the occupation. Mammadyarov informed him about the current state of the talks on the settlement of Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and Azerbaijanâ€™s position on the issue.

In the end of the meeting, Ahmet Davutoglu invited his Azerbaijani counterpart to pay an official visit to Turkey. Mammadyarov accepted his invitation and said it would be realized in the second half of December.
