Baku – APA. President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received State Secretary for Economic Affairs of Switzerland, co-chairman of the intergovernmental commission Jean-Daniel Gerber, press service of the President told APA. Jean-Daniel Gerber said he visited Azerbaijan for several times while working as the World Bank representative on Azerbaijan. He spoke about his meetings with national leader Heydar Aliyev. He said there was great economic development in Azerbaijan over the past period.
President Aliyev said bilateral relations between Azerbaijan and Switzerland were in high level and expressed confidence that Jean-Daniel Gerber’s visit to Azerbaijan will contribute to the development of these relations.
