Tehran has suspended negotiations with Washington on a final agreement amid threats voiced by the United States, a senior Iranian official told TASS, APA reports.
"The reason Iran has suspended negotiations on concluding a final agreement with the United States is precisely the direct threats against the Iranian people voiced by US President Donald Trump, as well as Washington's repeated violations of the commitments it undertook," the source said.
According to the official, any military aggression by the United States against Iran will be met with a broader and more decisive response than before.
"The United States continued violating its commitments by attacking Iran's southern islands. In response to this aggression, which we consider a gross violation of the Islamabad Memorandum of Understanding, Iran launched large-scale strikes on US positions in the region. Iran has warned that any further military action by the United States will be met with a more decisive, larger-scale and harsher response than before," the Iranian source stressed.
