Azerbaijani ambassador meets First Deputy Speaker of Russia's Federation Council

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Russia Rahman Mustafayev met with First Deputy Speaker of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation Andrey Yatskin, APA's Moscow bureau reports.

During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of the visit by the Russian parliamentary delegation to Baku on June 17-18 to participate in the 24th meeting of the Commission for Interparliamentary Cooperation between the Milli Majlis of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, as well as current issues on the bilateral agenda.

The sides also exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral parliamentary platforms.

They reaffirmed their commitment to continuing constructive and productive cooperation between the Embassy of Azerbaijan and the relevant committees of the Federation Council of the Russian Federation.
