Vladimir Dorokhin: “Cancel of anti-terror regime in Chechnya will have a good influence on Russia-Azerbaijan relations, tooâ€

Baku. Lachin Sultanova – APA. “Cancel of anti-terror regime in Chechnya will have a good influence on Russia-Azerbaijan relations, too,†said Russian ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin while taking a stance on today’s decision, APA reports. The ambassador said strict customs and border control on Russia-Azerbaijan border caused problems for people.
“It was connected with special regime in Chechnya, that’s why there was a special control regime in bordering zones. Only the citizens of Azerbaijan other CIS countries could cross to Russia. I think cancel of the regime in Chechnya will improve the situation on the border, there will be no need to carry out special examinations. I have a ground to welcome this decision,†he said.
