Russian Ambassador Vladimir Dorokhin: â€œWe have high hopes for Ilham Aliyevâ€™s visit to Moscowâ€

Lachin Sultanova â€“ APA. â€œTomorrow Russian and Azerbaijani presidents will hold their next working meeting and we have high hopes for this visitâ€, said Russian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Vladimir Dorokhin, APA reports. The diplomat said the visit would be held in the active international context while the world is searching for solution to the economic and financial crises. The ambassador said Russian President Dmitry Medvedev participated at the G20 summit in London where he represented all CIS countries. He said the president informed Ilham Aliyev about the negotiations in London. â€œThis issue will be focused at the meetings tomorrow tooâ€. The ambassador said the regional situation would also be on agenda. He said Russia was mediating in the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict and President Dmitry Medvedev joined the process last November when he invited the Azerbaijani and Armenian presidents to Moscow. Dorokhin said in fact there were no unadjusted issues between Russia and Azerbaijan and they had very hopeful projects ahead. The ambassador thinks that the decisions to be made during the visit will contribute to the welfare of both countries.
