Protest action in front of Turkey’s Embassy in Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. A group of Modern Musavat Party (MMP) members held a protest action against the opening of Turkey-Armenia borders in front of Turkey’s embassy in Baku on April 14, APA reports. The protesters chanted ‘Karabakhâ€, “Brothers should support each otherâ€, “Turkey, defend borders†and other slogans.
Then they read their resolution where they said the opening of borders with Armenia was incomprehensible while 20 percent of Azerbaijani lands were occupied by Armenia, and Armenia had territorial and false “genocide†claims against Turkey. Azerbaijani and Turkey are allies and they have to agree all steps between them, the protesters said.
MMP called on the Turkish authorities to avoid the opening of borders with Armenia.
The resolution was submitted to the embassy staff.
