Currently some technical talks are going on and it aims to make preparations for the prospects ahead of the negotiations between Azerbaijan and Armenia”, Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan said, APA reports quoting the Turkish newspapers. Erdogan said UN Security Council’s resolutions, calling Armenia as an occupant and demanding its withdrawal from the occupied lands, must be fulfilled. “Minsk Group trio of USA, Russia and France is trying to solve the problem between Azerbaijan and Armenia for more than 17 years. We are closely following this process. Unfortunately they still can’t solve the problem. We forwarded the initiative of Caucasian Stability and Cooperation Platform, which covers Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Armenia and Georgia. We aim to achieve solutions of the problems between Azerbaijan and Armenia on the one hand, between Turkey and Armenia on the other hand”.

Erdogan responded to the oppositional Republican People’s Party (CHP) and National Movement Party (MHP), who criticize the government for its policy toward Armenia. He said CHP and MHP had dirty attitude to this issue. “It is impossible for us to make decision without solution of problem between Armenia and Azerbaijan. We stated it for many times. It is either they don’t hear us, or they chose this position to continue slander campaign. Let them say what they please, but we will do our work, because we are at side of solution of the problems and our actions also contribute to that. We have to make these actions”.
