The winners' goals were scored by Desire Douai (77th minute), Ryan Cherki (81), and Michael Oliseh (88 and 90+1). The losers' goal was scored by Dodi Lukebakio (35).
France has 10 points and leads Group 1 of the top division. Belgium is third with 6 points. In the other match of the group, Italy defeated Turkey 3-1. The Italians have 7 points and are in second place, while Turkey is last with no points.
In the next round, the French will play Italy away, while the Belgian team will face Turkey away. The matches will take place on November 12.
The top two teams from each Elite Division group will advance to the Nations League quarterfinals. The teams finishing bottom will be relegated to the second-strongest division.
The third teams will play play-off matches with the teams that finished second in the second-strongest league for the right to play in the elite division of the next competition.
