Central bank transfers AZN 100M to ADIF

Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has transferred AZN 100 million to the Azerbaijan Deposit Insurance Fund for payment of compensation to the depositors of the closed banks, CBA deputy chairman Aftandil Babayev said at the meeting of Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship Committee of the Milli Majlis (Parliament).

According to him, the funds have been transferred in two tranches: “First tranche made AZN 80 million, the second – AZN 20 million”.
