Baku. Musa Ahmadov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based banks defraud people by manipulating, MP Ali Masimli said at the first plenary meeting of the autumn session of the parliament.
Mentioning that manat is only means of payment in the country, the MP said payment in dollar is incorrect: “If anyone bought a furniture, why should their payments increase after devaluation? Although the value of furniture is in manat, the payment is increased after devaluation. Therefore, the people are indebted to banks for long-time. And the banks make annexes to the contract in favour of themselves. There are no such acts by banks in any country. If this problem is not solved timely, the situation will be more deplorable”.
