Azerbaijan ranks 37th on Global Competitiveness Report

According to the Global Competitiveness Report, Azerbaijan ranked 37^th, ahead of Russia (43^rd), Kazakhstan (53^rd) and Ukraine (85^th) among the post soviet counties.

Switzerland ranked the most competitive economy for the eighth consecutive year, ahead of Singapore and the United States.

Countries were ranked according to the "12 pillars of competitiveness," which includes macro-economic environment, infrastructure, health and primary education, and labour market efficiency.
