Volume of Russia's investment in Azerbaijan revealed

"Volume of Russian investment in Azerbaijan has reached USD 4.5 bln, while Azerbaijan's investment in the Russian Federation to USD 1.5 bln.," said Russian Deputy Prime Minister Alexei Overchuk in the conference entitled "Current condition and perspectives of Russian-Azerbaijani economic relations in the context of integration processes" at ADA University, APA-Economics reports.

According to him, Russia and Azerbaijan can act mutually and get joint economic successes.

“Russian business is interested in working in Azerbaijan today. The country has good prospects for the development and creation of railways, renewable energy sources, high-tech enterprises,” Overchuk noted.

Russian Deputy PM also stressed that the region now opens new opportunities to connect North-South and West-East routes and the entire EAEU region can benefit from this. He added that the construction of new highways from the borders of Kazakhstan to the Baltic ports and Belarus is continued.
