A tripartite meeting of ministers responsible for the transport sector of Azerbaijan, Turkiye, and Georgia was held today in Tbilisi, said Azerbaijan’s Digital Development and Economy Minister Rashad Nabiyev, APA-Economics reports.
According to him, the issues of the wide use of the potential of the Middle Corridor and increasing the transmission capacity of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railway, which is of vital importance in this corridor, were discussed at the meeting.
“Our bilateral meeting with Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Levan Davitashvili was also fruitful. Especially we discussed establishing block train between Poti, and Batumi ports and Alat port, aligning schedules and determining single prices,” added the minister.
