Revenues of international oil companies in Azerbaijan sharply increase

In January-September of this year, international oil and gas companies operating in Azerbaijan obtained revenue in the amount of USD 1,7 bln. (AZN 2,72 bln.), according to the calculations of APA-Economics based on the information of Azerbaijan Central Bank.

This indicator increased by 77,8% in comparison to the same period of the previous year. Revenues of these companies accounted for 66.7% of Azerbaijan's payments to non-residents.

So, the volume of payments to non-residents over preliminary revenues from Azerbaijan in the first 3 quarters of 2021 made up USD 2,4 bln. (AZN 4,08 bln.). This is 20% more in annual comparison.
