As part of his participation in the Annual Meetings of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund in Washington, D.C, Taleh Kazimov, Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA), met with Pan Gongsheng, Governor of the People's Bank of China, APA-Economics reports.
"During the meeting, we expressed satisfaction with the current state of bilateral relations and emphasized our confidence that the Memorandum of Understanding signed last month will help further deepen cooperation between the two institutions. We also discussed the importance of enhancing collaboration between the central banks and financial sectors of both countries, exchanging experience and information in the areas of financial technologies, innovation, and payment systems, as well as other activities aimed at strengthening cooperation," Taleh Kazimov said in an X post.
