From January to July 2025, a total of 990.2 million manats were transferred to banks in Azerbaijan via fast money transfer systems, APA-Economics reports, citing its calculations based on the Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s report.
The volume of funds sent abroad from banks amounted to 280.9 million manats.
Compared to the same period of the previous year, the volume of funds received by banks through fast money transfer systems decreased by 6.4% or 68 million manats, while transfers abroad from banks decreased by 7.3% or 22.1 million manats.
Note that in January–July 2024, a total of 1 billion 58.2 million manats were transferred to banks in Azerbaijan through fast money transfer systems, while the volume of funds sent abroad amounted to 303 million manats.
