The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has updated its economic growth forecast for Azerbaijan, APA-Economics reports.
The Fund has set real GDP growth at 3% for 2025 and 2.5% for 2026. This is 0.5 percentage points lower than the Fund's previous forecast.
The International Monetary Fund's previous economic growth forecast for 2025-2026 was 3.5% and 2.5%, respectively.
The IMF also believes that economic growth in the country will be around 2.5% in 2030.
Note that after these corrections, this is the most positive economic growth forecast among foreign financial institutions.
