In January-July 2025, the Space Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Azercosmos) exported satellite telecommunication services worth 10.1 million US dollars to 41 countries around the world, this was reported in the August issue of the Export Review published by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication, APA-Economics reports.
It was noted that the income of Azercosmos from service exports accounted for 66% of its total income. In July 2025, Azercosmos exported services worth 1.6 million US dollars to 35 countries around the world.
The top five exporters of satellite telecommunications services during the reporting period were the United Kingdom with $2.7 million, Luxembourg with $2.1 million, Nigeria with $498.9 thousand, Türkiye with $461 thousand, and Egypt with $417.5 thousand
