In January-August 2026, Azerbaijan produced gross domestic product (GDP) worth 87 billion 709.5 million manats, the State Statistical Committee said, APA-Economics reports.
This is 1.2% more in real terms compared to the corresponding period of last year.
During the reporting period, value added in the oil and gas sector decreased by 0.8%, while it increased by 2.1% in the non-oil and gas sector.
In January-August, GDP worth 26 billion 181.9 million manats was generated in the oil and gas sector, while GDP worth 61 billion 527.6 million manats was generated in the non-oil and gas sector.
