The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) and the World Bank discussed expanding financial inclusion, APA-Economics reports, citing CBA.
According to the information, the chairman of the institution, Taleh Kazimov, held a meeting with Antonella Bassani, Vice President of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia, within the framework of his working visit to the US capital, Washington.
At the meeting, satisfaction was expressed with the cooperation with the World Bank in ensuring macroeconomic stability and expanding financial inclusion in the country, and the initiatives envisaged in the new Country Partnership Framework for Azerbaijan and the implemented projects were discussed, as well as an exchange of views on expanding cooperation in the long term in support of sustainable development goals.
