Annual inflation in Türkiye has increased, APA-Economics reports, citing the Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI).
Annual inflation in September of this year was 33.29%. In August, this figure was 32.95%. In September, consumer prices increased by 3.23% compared to the previous month.
Note that in the last year, an increase of 36.06% was observed in food and non-alcoholic beverages, 25.30% in transportation, and 51.36% in housing.
Recall that inflation in Türkiye reached its highest level in the last 24 years in October 2022 - 85.5%. Last year, the highest indicator (75.45%) was recorded in May, and this year, in January (42.12%).
