The international insurance and risk assessment company Allianz Trade (formerly Euler Hermes) has maintained Azerbaijan's country risk rating at the "C1" level with a stable outlook, APA-Economics reports.
The company has classified Azerbaijan once again in the "low risk" category and placed it in the green zone. This reflects the country's macroeconomic stability and low short-term financial risks.
According to the assessment, Azerbaijan's financial system, external payment capacity, and budget stability are preserved; however, some weaknesses remain in the structure of the economy and the institutional environment.
Allianz Trade emphasized that since no changes were observed in the country’s risk indicators, Azerbaijan’s rating has been maintained as stable.
Recall that in the first quarter of this year, Allianz Trade upgraded Azerbaijan’s country risk rating from C2 (medium risk) to C1 (low risk).
The company explained this by the reduction in the level of risk in the country and the formation of a more stable economic and political environment.
