Bank Respublika launches utilities bill collection service

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based Bank Respublika has launched a utilities bill collection service through its branches offices.
The bank said customers can now pay electricity, water and gas bills at the nearest branch. The customer is not charged any commission for payment.

As of January 1, the bank’s assets stood at AZN 387.875 million, loan portfolio at AZN 260.367 million, deposit portfolio at AZN 135.816 million, total capital at AZN 43.299 million and authorized capital at AZN 22.6 million.
Bank Respublika has been in operation since 1992. DEG Investment Corporation and Sparkassen International Development Trust hold a 25%+1 joint stake.
The bank has 21 branches, 40 ATMs and 290 POS terminals.
