Azerbaijanâ€™s representatives to attend Banking Forum of CIS & Eastern Europe countries in Vienna

Baku. Vugar Israfilov â€“ APA-Economics. Representatives of the National Bank of Azerbaijan and commercial banks will attend the traditional Banking Forum of CIS & Eastern Europe countries in Vienna on April 23-25, Banking Association for Central and Eastern Europe (BACEE) told APA-Economics.

Azerbaijan became member of BACEE in 2008. Alongside with the 20th annual conference in Austriaâ€™s capital, BACEE decided to analyse the difficulties of the banks in the region in the face of financial crisis. The Banking Forum will focus on risk management. Representatives of BACEE consider that bank risks in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe may be compared with bank risks in CIS members. The association leadership considers that urgent issues and their solution should be discussed together. Presentation ceremony of the banking system of Azerbaijan will be held for the first time in the forum.

Along with the representatives of Azerbaijani and CIS central and commercial banks, bank experts from Switzerland, Germany, Belgium and Austria will attend the Banking Forum and the annual conference of BACEE.
