Azerbaijanâ€™s MBASK Insurance Company launches home and car complex insurance

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As part of its Efficient Insurance, Azerbaijanâ€™s MBASK Insurance Company has launched two insurance packages, branded as Rahat (Convenience) and Deyer (Value).
The company said these European-type insurance services are introduced in Azerbaijan for the first time.
The packages allow a customer to insure his home for AZN 50 or his car and home for AZN 150.
Dayar Package containing car and home insurance falls under the Express Package.
Rahat Package is a property insurance against fire, flood and explosion.
In addition to the very affordable price, the other advantage and convenience of the new services is that customers can but this insurance on the basis of their oral information without review of the car or home.
MBASK Insurance has been in operation since 1992. MBASK is owned by EBRD (30%) and individuals. As of January 1, its authorized capital stood at AZN 2 million. At present it provides 29 types of insurance services.
The company earned AZN 18.551 million in premiums and paid AZN 5.96 million for insurance claims during 2008.
