Bank of Baku launches Student Computer Loan

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics Bank of Baku has launched Student Computer Loan Programme.
The bank said maximally simplified the terms of obtaining a loan in order to make the loans accessible to all students.
Under the terms, students can get a computer on credit from DNS Computers by providing an identity card, student card or student’s grade card (Master’s degree holders).
No down payment is required. When buying a computer on credit at the shop, as a guarantor a parent or a guardian of a student shall show up.
The loan ceiling is $850 and the term is 3-24 months.
from 3 to 24 months, the maximum loan amount determined by the sum of 850 dollars. To obtain a loan must be present as only to the provision of identity cards. Help with job parent or guardian is required.
As of January 1, Bank of Baku’s assets stood at AZN 183.886 million, deposit portfolio at AZN 141.607 million, loan portfolio at AZN 152.049million, total capital at AZN 25.533 million and authorized capital at AZN 6.8 million.
The bank currently operates 15 branches, 18 ATMs and 240 POS terminals. One of the first commercial banks in Azerbaijan, Bank of Baku was registered on 14 February, 1994 originally under the name of Tugay Bank. The key founder of BOB was the Turkish company Nab Dış Ticaret. On 10 February 1997, Bank of Baku’s name was changed to Bank of Baku and it was reregistered as a joint stock commercial bank in August 1997.
