World Bank investment in Azerbaijan drops by 23%

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the World Bank (WB) was AZN 5 522 300 in January, down 23.2% on the same period last year, said the State Statistical Committee.
The WP investment accounted for 0.6% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international organizations.
Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the WB has provided $2 billion financial assistance to Azerbaijan.
