Azerbaijan sees a 46% decline in foreign fixed capital investment

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev – APA-Economics. As against a year ago, foreign fixed capital investment dropped by 45.8% in Azerbaijan during January, said the State Statistical Committee.
The top body said the amount of foreign investment in fixed capital reached AZN 108.1 million.
Of this, AZN 100.6 million or 93.1% was made by British, U.S., Japanese, Norwegian and Turkish investors.
Domestic investment in fixed capital accounted for 61%, leaving 39% for foreign fixed investment in the country during January.
