Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. AZN 4 500.2 million worth of securities were issued in Azerbaijan udirng 2008, up 9.1% on a year ago.
Of this, 56.2% were short-term notes by the National Bank of Azerbaijan, 8.9% were T-bills by the Ministry of Finance, 34.9% were corporate securities.
78.9% of T-bills and 65.2% of notes were placed on Baku Stock Exchange.
