The top body said the amount of fixed investment by British residents in Azerbaijan was $1.27 billion (AZN 1.021 billion), down 16.5% on a year ago. The share of British capital in total investments rose to 45.9% in 2008 from 43% in 2007.
The UK investors were followed by US, Japanese, Turkish and Norwegians which made about AZN 941.252 million or 42.3% of total capital investment in 2008.
