UniCapital tops ranking of brokers in January

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. In January of 2009 according to the calculations by the Analytical Department of BSE, in the government securities market (excluding repo operations market) â€œUniCapitalâ€ headed ranking of brokers with brokerage services provided to 5 clients in the total amount of AZN 80,082,869.10. The second leading broker was â€œStandard Capitalâ€ with brokerage services of AZN 47,395,845.02 provided to 5 clients, which is by AZN 32,687,024.08 less than the indicator of â€œUniCapitalâ€. â€œRespublika Investâ€ held the third place in ranking of brokers with AZN 34,595,156.30.
We should note that in January the leading amount in the ranking of brokers decreased compared to the previous month. So, in December the leading amount of brokerage services provided made AZN 83,091,637.90. Moreover, in January of this year on the above-stated segment of the market the number of brokers rendered services remained unchanged, i.e. 8.
