Azerbaijan posts 17.5% year-on-year rise in customs taxes and duties collection in January

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan State Customs Committee collected AZN 104.11 million in customs taxes and duties in 2008, meeting the target at 100.1%.
The top body said the figure is a 17.45% rise on the same period last year.
The target for 2009 was increased to AZN 1.3 billion from AZN 1.11 billion in 2008.
