91.33% of all transactions were carried out with government securities.
For the first time in the history of BSE the largest growth was registered in the secondary market of equities which increased more than 5 times. The primary market of equities grew by more than 182 times. It should be noted that in addition to the volumes the number of transactions considerably went up both in the secondary and primary markets of equities from 9 to 163 and from 2 to 25 respectively.
Growth of the exchange activity was not observed in all segments of the securities market. The Notes’ primary and secondary markets reduced by 52.52% and 63.03% respectively. Transactions with corporate bonds were conducted solely in the secondary market.
In general, the corporate securities sector grew by 81 times while government securities sector increased by 1.62 times.
