International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation to send a mission to Azerbaijan

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluev - APA-Economics. The International Islamic Trade Finance Corporation (ITFC), a member of Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Group, is due to send a mission to Azerbaijan at the end of February, said Rashad Tanriverdiyev, International Relations and Strategic Planning Officer of Azerbaijan-based Turanbank.
According to him, the delegation will meet with Turanbankâ€™s chairman Nazim Sadigov to discuss several issues, including the allocation of funds for Turanbank to finance export-import operations.
Two banks â€“ Kovsar Bank and Turanbank operate on sharia in Azerbaijan.
Turanbank received a $1 million loan from the Islamic Corporation for Private Sector Development (ICD) last year.
