Azerbaijanâ€™s bills market more than doubled last year

Baku. Vugar Israfilov - APA-Economics. Bill of exchange market amounted to AZN 62.75 million in Azerbaijan in 2008, up 107.1% on a year ago.
The State Committee for Securities said 509 bills, including 7 treasury bills worth AZN .9 million were issued.
The number of bills exceeded the figure for 2007 by five times: Meanwhile, the Committee canceled AZN 42 million worth of 297 bills.
