Baku Main Customs Department inaugurates a new office building

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov â€“ APA-Economics. The Baku Main Customs Department has today held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new office building.
Aydin Aliyev, Chairman of the State Customs Committee, acquainted himself with the work environment for customs officials in the new workplace.
Vusal Novruzov, Chief of Baku Main Customs Department, reported to Aydin Aliyev that the building was equipped so as to provide services for citizens through a one-stop shop.
â€œThis allows completing the documentation procedure within 20-25 minutes, compared to several hours previously. Citizens can get their documents registered electronically without coming to the office,â€ he briefed.
The building is also equipped with a billing system and POS terminals.
