Zamin Bank gets profit slashed last year

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev â€“ APA-Economics. As of January 1, Azerbaijan-based Zamin Bankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 135.577 million, up 47.3% on a year earlier.
The bank said loan portfolio rose 54.4% to AZN 75.293 million, deposit portfolio increased 95% to AZN 45.731 million, total capital went up 4.8% to AZN 12.890 million and authorized capital stood at AZN 11.195 million.
Revenue for 2008 increased 87% over the past year to AZN 20.553 million and expenditures rose 97% to AZN 20.421 million.
Profit fell five times to AZN 132 000 and net profit reached AZN 103 000.
The bank established 1 ATM and 1 230 POS terminals over the past one year.
Established in 1992, Zamin Bank has 22 branches, 6 offices, a representative office in Moscow, 21 ATMs and 1 810 POS terminals.
