EBRD raises investment by 57% in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The fixed investments in Azerbaijan by the European Bank of Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) was AZN 18 887 900, up 56.5% on a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee.
The EBRD investment accounted for 0.9% of fixed capital investments in Azerbaijan by foreign countries and international organizations.
Azerbaijan joined the World Bank in 1992. Since then, the EBRD has provided $1 billion to Azerbaijan.
