Gala Sighorta to hold general meeting of shareholders in February

Baku. Elnur Huseynguliyevâ€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s Gala Sighorta will hold a general meeting of shareholders on February 27, 2009.
Abbas Babayev, Chairman of the Board, said
the meeting will discuss the financial performance in 2008, distribution of dividends, plans for 2009 and a number of other issues.
Gala Sighorta was issued a termless license by the Ministry of Finance on July 31, 2008.
The company is owned by AzRe Reinsurance Company (60%) and an individual (40%).
As of October 1, it earned AZN 20 000 in premiums. The companyâ€™s share capital is AZN 1 million at present.
