Bank Standard posts 2.5% year-on-year fall in assets

Baku. Elnur Huseynguluyev – APA-Economics. As of December 1, Azerbaijan-based Bank Standard posted its assets at AZN 652.307 million, down 2.5% on a year ago.
The bank said loan portfolio increased by 3.49% to AZN 400.968 million while deposit portfolio fell 43.6% to AZN 170.579 million.
As against a year earlier, the bank’s total capital grew by 10.9% to AZN 82.103 million and authorized capital went up 29.1% to AZN 64.6 million.
For January-November, revenue rose 63.2% to AZN 100.143 million and expenditures increase 84.6% to AZN 66.96 million.
The bank’s profit reached AZN 33.187 million.
The bank established 5 branches, 48 ATMs and 379 POS terminals over the past one year.
Bank Standard, owned by AB Standard, has been in operation since 1995.
It operates 16 branches, 48 ATMs and 379 POS terminals across the country.
