Several industrial enterprises face loss in Azerbaijan

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev â€“ APA-Economics. Azerbaijan-based enterprises and companies (excluding agricultural enterprises and participants of the international consortium set up under the â€œContract Centuryâ€) reported a total profit of AZN 3.4 billion and a loss of AZN 712.9 million during January-September.
The State Statistical Committee said the profit made by business entities represents a 40,1% or AZN 980.9 million on the same period last year.
68.1% of the profit (AZN 2.3 billion manat) was made by industrial enterprises.
Construction companies made a profit of AZN 318.6 million (9.3% of the total profit), communications enterprises AZN 215.3 million (6.3%) and transport companies AZN 119 million (3.5%).
86.6 of the loss was suffered in industry, 3.4% in construction, 2.9% in transport and 4% in communications.
