Azerbaijanâ€™s state budget revenue grew 71% in January-September

Baku. Nijat Mustafayev - APA-Economics. The state budget revenue grew by 71.3%, year-over-year, to AZN 7 506.6 million against the prediction of AZN 7 421 million while expenditures jumped 68.6% to AZN 6 719.2 million against the planned 7 876.6 million in Azerbaijan for January-September, said the Ministry of Finance.
The revenue forecast was met at 101.2% while the prediction for expenditures was met at 85.3%.
Of the budget receipts, 57.9% came from the Ministry of taxes, 11.2% from the State Customs Committee, 29.2% from the State Oil Fund, 1.2% from the budgetary organizations and 0.5% from other sources.
The Ministry of taxes met the prediction at 107.4% and the State Customs Committee at 100.4%.
The State Oil Fund paid AZN 2.19 billion to the state budget, up AZN 1.7 billion on the same period last year.
The State Property Management Committee collected AZN 3.9 million from the management of public property, up 50% on the same period last year.
The budget surplus reached AZN 787.4 million for the nine months.
