Azerbaijanâ€™s Texnikabank to go live with Temonos next year

Baku. Rashad Suleymanov - APA-Economics. Azerbaijanâ€™s Texnikabank will switch to Temonos banking software from June, 2009.
The bank said work has continued to progress on the implementation of the state-of-the-art centralized core banking software.
It is planned to test the software in April.
On July 2, 2008, Technikabank signed an agreement with Temenos Group, the provider of integrated core banking systems, on the installation of the software
The National Bank of Azerbaijan, Bank Standard and AGBank have this software installed too.
Temenos Group AG is a leading provider of integrated modular core banking systems serving more than 600 customers in over 120 countries. As at Q2 2008, Temenos operates through 44 offices with more than 2,300 full-time employees made up of over 60 nationalities.
As of October 1, Technikabankâ€™s assets stood at AZN 439.644 million, loan portfolio at AZN 78.663 million and total capital at AZN 57.438 million.
The bank operates 35 branches, 2 offices and 3 exchange bureaus and 46 ATMs across the country.
